Welcome to PAIN 2019
Greetings! It is my great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 24th Annual Gabor Racz Advanced Interventional Budapest Pain Conference and Workshop. The event takes place August 26, 27, and 28, 2019. The FIPP and CIPS exams are offered on August 29, 2019.
We are privileged to have a host of luminary physicians from around the world to personally present the latest innovations in the field of interventional pain management. Last year’s event was phenomenal and this year’s event promises to be even better! We’ve listened carefully to reviews and suggestions from past participants and incorporated those ideas into a solid, evidence-packed, enriching experience for all. Interventional pain procedures are powerful, and our workshops infuse the knowledge and confidence that helps our physicians provide life-changing relief to patients.
The Conference explores trends in neuromodulation, injections, regenerative medicine, Neuroplasty, ultrasound, opioid issues, and much more.
For the first time in the history of the Budapest Conference, we are welcoming abstracts to be presented as posters. We know that these posters will surely stimulate conversations and new ideas.
We will also have the privilege of having Dr. Ludger Gedesmeyer’s 10 year follow up on Epidural Neuroplasty.
The use of ultrasound continues to evolve and is critical in regard to catheter and electrode placement. We explore the use of the technology to help gauge effectiveness of neuro-disruptive methods such as cryoanalgesia and heat lesioning. Don’t miss this program!
We will be privileged to honor this year’s Trail Blazers, Dr. Laxmaiah Manchikanti and Dr. Gerald Rosen for their long standing work.
As always, we would like to express our sincerest appreciation to our industry sponsors for their continued generous support. We’d also like to acknowledge our dedicated staff, colleagues, and friends for their unending support in making this event so successful.
If you need another reason to visit Budapest, it was just voted as the best European destination for 2019 by European Best Destinations®
We know you will enjoy this conference and come away with valuable information that will enhance the way you practice pain medicine. Interactions with colleagues and friends from around the world will stimulate the creative minds.
Join us in Budapest!
